Afton BeadlesAfton is from Garland, Texas where she has been dancing/performing since a young age and has been involved in the dance/ drill team world for several years. Afton spent 6 years as the Assistant Drill Team Director at South Garland High School “Southern Belles” and has been the choreographer for the JJ Pearce High School “Pacesetters” for the past four years. She is also starting her eighth year as a choreographer and instructor with Encore Creative Productions. 2020 will make Afton’s 14th year as a choreographer for Spirit of America Productions. Afton spends a majority of her time traveling and choreographing around the state of Texas and has had the privilege of choreographing for such prestigious teams as the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and the Kilgore College Rangerettes.

Carrie SellarsFrom early on Carrie knew dance was her passion and educating young aspiring dancers is what she wanted to do. Fulfilling her dream of being a teacher and choreographer has been one of her biggest accomplishments. Growing up, Carrie danced competitively in all genres, trained at conventions, and was Captain of her high school dance team. Along the way she won numerous awards including scholarships, titles, and invitations to summer intensives in New York and Los Angeles. Spending summers in LA she grew an immense appreciation for professionally conducted training and the importance of versatility as a dancer. She was an assistant for the dance convention Hollywood Connection dancing with some of the biggest names in the industry.
In June 2006 she founded The Dance FX Studio in Garland, TX and continues to instruct there during the summer months. Her students have gone on to dance professionally and be a part of college dance team programs across the country. She was on staff for Starmakers Dance Camps transitioning her more into the all-star dance and drill team industry. Carrie is entering her 12th year on staff for Spirit of America Productions where she heads up their social media efforts and is on the choreography team. Residing in Dallas, she is a dance instructor, choreographer, and a fitness instructor at Class Studios. Her routines have received choreography awards, overall placements, and judge’s choice awards. Working with numerous high schools all across Texas, Carrie is sought out to help dancers build strong foundations and develop the proper technique for their chosen style of dance. She has had the privilege of being on staff with Crowd Pleasers Dance as a Master Instructor for their summer camps since 2017. In 2019 Carrie was chosen to be the TDEA All-State Dance Team Choreographer creating a routine for 250 dancers from all over Texas. Carrie has served as a judge for the USASF Dance Worlds, Contest of Champions, The Summit, NDA and FC Dance Internationals in the UK. |
Kristi ColeKristie grew up studying dance under the famous Texie Waterman School of Dance in Dallas, Texas. Texie was the original choreographer for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and was well known by many. Kristie also studied at Broadway Dance Center in New York, and dance studios in LA as well. Over the past 30 years she has attended many local teacher workshops/conventions to broaden her dance artistry.
In 1996, Kristie opened the doors to High Society Dance Studio. While Owning and operating High Society for 11 years she produced many great dancers who moved on to College dance teams, Dallas Maverick dancers, Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, drill team directors and studio owners. Following High Society Dance Studio Kristie formed Illuzion Dance Company and directed the dance team for 5 years. Over the years her teams have won numerous National Titles, Choreography and Judges awards in all age levels. Kristie is thrilled to be “back home” teaching where she originally started High Society. With her 30+ years experience Kristie is proud to be instructing the Dance FX Intermediate Dance Team again. With her knowledge, training and passion, Kristie wishes to inspire her students and share her gift and love of dance! Kristie and her husband Troy have 2 children Karlie and Nathan. Her daughter Karlie is currently a member of the Blinn College Dance Team and will be a Sophomore in the fall. |
Madison HancockMadison has been in the dance/drill team world since 2004. Madison is currently the Drill Team director for the Highlandettes at Lake Highlands High School. Before this, she was the assistant for the Highlandettes from 2014-2019. She is also on staff at Encore Creative Productions where she teaches dance and leadership to drill teams across Texas. During college, Madison served as Right End Lieutenant for the famous Kilgore Rangerettes. After studying at Kilgore College, she went on to earn a B.A. in Visual Arts and Performance with a concentration in dance from the University of Texas at Dallas where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Deidre BramlettDeidre Bramlett has 14 years of experience in the fitness industry as a Cooper Institute certified Personal trainer and nutrition coach. Her many certifications include Piyo Live, Bootybarre, and Sugarfoot Therapy Instructor. Deidre’s collegiate and professional dance experience includes being a part of the World famous Kilgore College Rangerettes where she was also selected to be part of their elite dance team, The Swingsters, The University of North Texas dance team and the Dallas Maverick Dancers.

Savanna FredricksonSavanna Fredrickson is from Rowlett TX. She attended Sachse High School where she was Captain of the Sachse Swingsters. After Sachse, she attended Kilgore College and danced as a Kilgore College Rangerette on the 74th line. Following Kilgore, she attended Stephen F. Austin State University and recently graduated Magna Cum Laude in May of 2018, with a bachelors of science in Dance Education and minor in Family/Child development. Savanna was on the SFA dance team for 2 years and won a national championship in 2017.

Keyra FordKeyra Ford was born and raised in Mesquite, Texas. She started dancing at the age of three. She attended Beyond Belief Dance Company for her studio training where she had the unique opportunity to be a part of the top 20 for America’s Got Talent in 2008. Keyra attended Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts where she studied ballet, modern, jazz, and international dance. After graduating high school she went on to become a captain for the McLennan Community College Dance Team. Keyra finished her college dance career at Louisiana State University where she was a part of the Tiger Girls dance team for two years. In 2015 she graduated from LSU with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration and Business and a minor in Leadership. Upon graduation she moved back home to Mesquite, TX where she began training to become a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. In 2017 Keyra achieved her dream and became a member of the world famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. After living out her life long dream as a DCC she is now pursuing real estate, running her own non profit organization, and of course... dancing!

Jessi SchmittJessi has been dancing for 16 years. Last Fall she attended Oklahoma City University for a degree in Dance. She was taught by many amazing instructors such as Jo Rowan. This next year, Jessi will be attending Sam Houston State University for her degree in Nutritional Therapy and a minor in Dance. She is also a part of the National Champion Orange Pride Dance Team. Jessi has been training in ballet since she started dancing. Last Christmas, she had the opportunity to perform the Sugar Plum Fairy in Rockwall Dance Academy’s Nutcracker as a guest performer. Jessi has always loved ballet and is excited to teach everyone at DFX!
